Before I think about furniture, colour or finishes, I want to understand how you live, what already matters to you and what you want your space to feel like.
My path to North Star has taken me through visual communication, property, renovation, home staging, retail and sourcing. Each chapter has taught me something different about how spaces work, how they make us feel and how much better they become when they reflect the people using them.
I believe the best interiors feel collected rather than copied, personal rather than perfect. They should make room for the things you already love while opening up possibilities you may not have imagined yet.
That is the approach I’m bringing to North Star in Amsterdam: thoughtful, collaborative and always grounded in the people who will live with the result.

A new chapter, taking shape in Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is now my home, and it feels like the right place to build North Star. I love the mix of old and new here, the character in the buildings and the fact that no two homes seem to tell quite the same story.
That’s very much how I think about interiors too. I’m not interested in making a home look like everyone else’s. I want to get to know the person first, understand what they already love and then help bring everything together in a way that feels natural, considered and completely theirs.
Wherever I’m working, I want the process to feel personal and collaborative. A space has to work for real life, but it should also be somewhere you walk into and immediately think, yes, this feels like home.
